This image was created as part of Hospital Rooms workshops with patients at Fletcher Ward, Cornwall Hospitals. 20% of proceeds from the print will be donated to Hospital Rooms to support their work bringing arts and creative programming to mental health hospitals in the UK.

Photographs from the workshops are part of an installation entitled ‘Still, Held’ in the Female Lounge on Carbis Ward, an acute psychiatric ward in Longreach House, part of Camborne Redruth Community Hospital.

The photographs came from workshops with patients and staff. We made paper flowers together then threw them into the air, using an infra red beam to trigger the camera shutter and capture the flowers in mid flight.
