Test shoot at the weekend for Trigger project. A big thank you to the Hart’s – Emma, Catherine and John. Some squirrel success, more work to do on the fox. This part of a project developing with Tri-pod – www.tri-pod.co.uk. Interested in relying on external devices to set off the shutter, these taken by the animals and the bird feeder.

Each artist from the previous season was asked to invite someone new, Alice Walton – www.alicewaltononline.co.uk, invited me. I share a studio with Laura Braun and Heather McDonough. We work on joint exhibition projects together, such as The Anachronistic Album, which was shown in London and Brighton last year. We also occasionally open the studio for group shows with invited artists. Visit our blog for more info – www.thestudionotebook.blogspot.com.
I am developing new work with the photography group Tri-pod. Members of the group are; Natasha Caruana, Zoe Childerley, Ellie Davis, Dean Hollowood, Karen Grainger, Sacha Lehrfreund, Judith Lyons and Wendy Pye. The group is facilitated by Miranda Gavin, Hotshoe Magazine. I’m interested in replacing the emotional ‘trigger’ to take a photograph with a mechanical trigger – set off by animals as they pass through an infra-red beam. www.tri-pod.co.uk.
